Chitrita Mitra was born in Kolkata in the State of West Bengal on 12th September 1986. Initially her aim was to become a Doctor,a Psychiatrist but as she kept on getting modeling offers in Kolkata and down South,she could not pursue her career as a Psychiatrist.She has immense faith in God,in herself and in her closest friends,and offers her prayers to her Gurus/God Shree Lokenath Brahmachari and Shree Sathya Sai Baba.
